Vanbreda Risk & Benefits Once Again Awarded ‘Gold Label’ for Best Managed Company
Vanbreda Risk & Benefits has been proclaimed Best Managed Company by Deloitte for the fifth year running. “We are very proud to have been awarded the Gold Label again. Our recognition as Best Managed Company, for five years in a row, proves that we have strong assets to steer the company through difficult times, realize sustainable growth and further prepare ourselves for the future in the digital area. It underlines our continuing high resilience, our clear vision and our social commitment, year after year”, says CEO Pedro Matthynssens.

Since 2018, Deloitte Private, Econopolis and KU Leuven every year seek out the ‘Best Managed Companies’ amongst Belgian SMEs and family enterprises. The independent jury recognizes the ability of this year’s laureates to achieve success and strengthen their market position even in times of crisis.
ESG Programme Shifts up a Gear
Every year, the Best Managed Companies programme assesses the applicants severely against a globally proven framework: a clear long-term strategy, extensive capabilities, a strong commitment and solid financial results.
Pedro Matthynssens: “The jury of experts congratulates our business on its exceptional financial performance of the past year, on attracting and retaining talent throughout the organization and on its clear strategy and its implementation in our various commercial departments. They also encourage us to continue focussing on diversity and inclusion. Finally, 2022 will be the year in which Vanbreda Risk & Benefits wants to achieve a set of predefined ambitious ESG goals.”
Ambition to Win Platinum Label in 2024
For the fifth year running, Vanbreda Risk & Benefits wins the Best Managed Company label. Pedro Matthynssens: “This is once again a tremendous recognition not only for our management but also for all our employees. And we are raising the bar again for the coming years: we are aiming at achieving the Platinum label in 2024, which is being awarded after the seventh award.”
