Ambuflex Plus is an outpatient care insurance policy tailored to your flexible remuneration package. It was specially developed for clients who have hospitalisation insurance with Vanbreda and who offer their employees a flexible remuneration package.
With Ambuflex Plus, you have the opportunity each year, according to your personal needs, to spend (part of) your flexible remuneration budget on outpatient care insurance for you and your family members. You can join the policy without medical formalities or waiting periods.
Ambuflex Plus offers affordable basic coverage for your entire family, for general outpatient care, dental care and eyeglasses. By ‘outpatient care’ we mean all medical care you receive outside hospitalisation. This includes visits to your GP or a specialist, a scan or ultrasound scan, physiotherapy treatment, etc.
The basic ‘Outpatient Care’ cover offers 100% reimbursement for treatments recognised by the NIHDI and for which you receive statutory compensation. This includes doctors’ fees, medical and paramedical treatment such as medical imaging, lab tests, nursing care, physiotherapy, movement and occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
You have the option to extend your basic cover with an extra ‘Optical & Dental’ coverage, under which you get reimbursement for dental care and treatment by a dentist, corrective eyeglasses and contact lenses, and even dental prostheses and orthodontics. However, it is not possible to take out the ‘Optical & Dental’ cover only.
