A single point of contact for international employee benefits

International employee benefits cases require clear coordination, transparent communication and close alignment between local expertise and international expectations. To boost our services in this area, Vanbreda has brought all international employee benefits requests together in a single desk.

The aim of this approach is to provide even more targeted support to network partners and their clients in connection with both incoming and outgoing international cases. The International Employee Benefits Desk acts as a central point of contact and ensures that requests, introductions and follow-up are handled consistently and efficiently, in close collaboration with our local Benelux teams.

In this way, we combine the strength of central coordination with the trusted local service on which clients already rely.

Clear coordination, local expertise

The role of the International Employee Benefits Desk is to coordinate international EB requests and communication with international network partners. At the same time, the local Benelux teams remain responsible for local service provision, substantive expertise and client relations.

This centralised approach makes it possible to determine priorities more clearly, monitor progress on current cases more effectively and make adjustments more quickly when necessary. Rather than creating a parallel circuit, the desk thus strengthens collaboration between international partners and local teams.

How does it work?

All international employee benefits communication takes place via one central email address:

VanbredaEmployeeBenefitsBenelux@vanbreda.com

This address can be used to ask international EB questions, introduce new international clients or cases and coordinate incoming or outgoing EB flows.

From this central inbox, further follow-up takes place in conjunction with the relevant local experts and international partners. Clear agreements on ownership, backup and daily follow-up ensure continuity and quality.

More transparency and efficiency for clients and partners

The creation of the International Employee Benefits Desk reflects our wider ambition to further professionalise our international EB services. By centralising international communication and aligning follow-up processes more effectively, we can offer clients and partners greater transparency, efficiency and added value.

We are convinced that this initiative will have a positive impact on our international service provision and promote lasting relationships with satisfied clients and partners.

How does Belgium’s creditworthiness affect your supplementary pension?

EIP & PLCI
01.05.2026

Credit rating agency Moody’s has just downgraded Belgium’s rating from Aa3 to A1. This means that Belgium will have to pay a higher interest rate on future borrowings. In the long term, this lower credit rating could also have an impact on the minimum return on the second-pillar supplementary pension. This development calls for a proactive approach: employers who anticipate in good time can keep their supplementary pension plan optimally in line with their HR and remuneration policies.
